Ocean Child :
Lavita Trimble

I am a member of the Eagle tribe from Wilp Kwa’kaans of Nisga’a Ancestry. My Nisga’a name is Gaks'im aws (Quiet Calm Eagle). My spirit name is Ocean Child, First breath after the rainstorm. My English name is Lavita

I've applied the art of physical healing for over a decade as a massage practitioner. My journey, however, extends far beyond that—over ten years of learning traditional healing methods from around the world have enriched my approach to holistic wellness.

In addition to my healing path, I've spent five years as a dedicated counselor, offering support and guidance to those in need. My journey began in 2010 when I delved into "Steps to Leadership" with mentors Joanne Roberts and Betty Lou Hunt. They introduced me to the transformative "Psychology of Vision," a healing module founded by Chuck Spezzano and Jeff Allen. Melissa Meyer was a key mentor in my training in Psychology of Vision.

In 2013, I embraced traditional healing methods with Terry Campbell of the Tahltan. I also had the privilege of attending workshops led by the late Frank Austin, Many Horses, from the Wet’suwet’en community in 2014. Since 2019, I've been fortunate to learn from Lightning Women Maureen Morven of the Nisga’a, enriching my wisdom further. In 2018, Elder Sheila Nymon of the Okanogan bestowed upon me the honor of passing on the sacred moonlodge teachings.

My mission is to share my extensive knowledge and experiences with compassion and to support you on your journey towards health, healing, and spiritual growth.
